This is an annual invitation only event organised by the UN Global Compact in close cooperation with UN partners designed to bring the voice of the private sector to inter-governmental debates on key topics, and nurture partnerships to achieve the 2030 Agenda. The event is intended to foster intergenerational dialogue to mobilise resources, scale innovation and celebrate climate transformative commitments from the world’s foremost leaders. The Forum will showcase the setting of 1.5˚C targets through the Science Based Targets initiative, support mitigation and adaption policies created through public private partnerships and feature other strategies to support a just transition to net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
