This study investigates the development of intelligent food packaging using colorimetric indicator films derived from Lobeira fruit starch and vanillin. These films were tested for their ability to monitor chicken meat spoilage under varying storage temperatures (12°C and 25°C). Results demonstrated significant color changes in films containing 0.05% and 0.1% vanillin, indicating meat deterioration. The films are biodegradable, low-cost, and non-toxic, showcasing their potential for real-time food quality monitoring.
