This event report describes the launch of a joint initiative by FAO, IFAD, and WFP to promote South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) through home-grown school feeding programmes (HGSF). Held during the GSSD Expo 2022, the session highlighted the experiences of Kenya, Rwanda, the Philippines, Senegal, and Sao Tome e Principe. The initiative aims to strengthen food systems and nutrition by enhancing local value chains and supporting sustainable HGSF programs through knowledge sharing and partnerships.
