This project aimed to strengthen regional coordination and capacity to monitor and manage Fall Armyworm (FAW) outbreaks across 15 West African countries. It enhanced early warning systems, conducted training for NPPOs, promoted the FAMEWS mobile app, and supported research on biocontrol and resilient maize varieties. A regional FAW task force was institutionalized and national action plans were developed for sustainable FAW control and crop protection.
