This poster summarizes a stepwise approach applied in Uganda and West Africa to integrate nutrition objectives into forest governance and food systems. Through situational analysis, theory of change development, and stakeholder validation, the project defined impact pathways for wild food promotion, improved shea value chains, and policy reform. It emphasizes the value of legal frameworks, quality standards, market access, and local engagement in enhancing dietary diversity and livelihoods.
