The article reviews how bioenergy production, byproducts, and use can influence nutrition security. Positive linkages include improved soil health through phytoremediation and biochar, enhanced indoor air quality via clean cookstoves, better food preservation through biogas-powered storage, and rural income diversification. However, the report stresses that most linkages are indirect or poorly documented, calling for more targeted research to fully understand bioenergy's role in nutrition outcomes.
