Evaluation Follow-Up: Developing Capacity for Strengthening Food Security and Nutrition in the Caucasus and Central Asia

This follow-up report assesses the outcomes of a project that built capacity in food security and nutrition policy across Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. While pilots improved local food systems and policy environments, the report emphasizes the need for a second phase to institutionalize and scale results. Recommendations include consolidating findings, enhancing coordination, and aligning food value chains with inclusive agribusiness models and school feeding programs. Lack of donor funding limited implementation of next steps.
