Enhancing the Production and Consumption of Safe and High-Quality Fruits and Vegetables

This report outlines efforts to promote sustainable horticulture by improving production systems, ensuring food safety, and increasing consumer access to nutritious fruits and vegetables. The project, supported by the Republic of Korea, introduced innovative greenhouse technologies and enhanced horticultural databases, such as HORTIVAR, to assist small-scale farmers. Capacity-building initiatives, regulatory improvements, and data-driven policy recommendations were central to the project’s success.
