This study evaluated dietary habits among 247 ethnic Hungarians in Romania using an online survey. Young adults (18–30) made up the majority but showed low engagement with healthy eating, despite greater diet diversity. Middle-aged and older adults, females, and individuals with higher education were more health-conscious in both food choices and purchasing behavior. Use of dietitians and adherence to healthy eating was positively associated with age and education. The findings call for nutrition education initiatives, especially targeting young adults in ethnic minority populations, and further research on socio-cultural dietary determinants.
