This report details a FAO-led project (2020–2021) to improve access to financial services for small-scale fishers (SSF) in the Philippines. It involved stakeholder analysis, capacity building, and launching the PhilNet SSF network. The project provided training to financial institutions, developed training materials, and established a platform for collaboration to enhance credit and insurance access in the fisheries sector.
