Climate Resilience in Agricultural and Rural Development Programmes in Latin America and the Caribbean

This report evaluates efforts in Bolivia, El Salvador, Jamaica, and the Bahamas to integrate climate resilience into rural development policies. The project developed national tools, climate resilience indicators, and technical guidance through stakeholder engagement and expert consultation. Despite COVID-19 delays, the project achieved results in embedding resilience in food systems, fostering public-private partnerships, and promoting sustainable practices. It advocates scaling resilience strategies across LAC to strengthen rural livelihoods and address climate shocks.
