The International Agri-Food Network brings together thousands of international companies and national associations under the umbrella of fourteen international organisations. It is the institutional home for the Private Sector Mechanism (PSM) - a coalition of farmers, industry professionals, cooperatives, small and medium enterprises, and food companies. The response to the Committee on World Food Security Recommendations on Food Systems and Nutrition by the PSM was reinforced at an event in April in Rome called 'Transforming food systems for improved nutrition.' The dialogue between public and private sectors was focused around the 17 recommendations put down by the PSM to advance private sector collaboration, trust, transparency, and accountability across the global food system.
