Peer review article in Hidden Hunger: Malnutrition and the First 1,000 Days of Life: Causes, Consequences and Solutions. This chapter looks at the principles underlying successful public private collaboration and a company’s ability to have impact in a partnership or collaboration. It has a helpful figure on the roles of stakeholders in addressing malnutrition and concludes that the combination of the skills and resources in a partnership provides more benefit than the sum of individual contributions. However, while this is the case, successful collaborations don’t happen in a vacuum and the paper includes a framework for creating shared values, objectives, and a common approach.
