Food Waste Atlas

Resource type:
Initiatives

The Food Waste Atlas tracks the world’s food loss and waste across the entire food system. It has been designed by WRAP – a non-profit working across private and public sectors on responsible resource use and the World Resources Institute – a global research organization focused on the environment, economic, and human wellbeing. The atlas aims to support the UN Sustainable Development Goal 12.3:’ By 2030, halve per capita global food waste at the retail and consumer levels and reduce food losses along production and supply chains.’ The Atlas offers a wealth of tools, data, FAQs, and resources on food waste and prevention.
